MACDRIVE 2000 MAKES EUROPEAN DEBUT
Mediafour demonstrates new version of software at CeBIT 2000
DES MOINES, IA, USA (01-Feb-2000) — Mediafour
Corporation has steadily increased their European presence over
the past
year, and plans to continue to grow the European market at CeBIT
2000. CeBIT will provide the setting for the international debut
of MacDrive 2000, the newest version of their award-winning cross-platform
software. Mediafour invites anyone interested to come see a demonstration
of MacDrive 2000 at Hall 9, Stand C16, Booth #G4.
Mediafour first introduced MacDrive to the European market at
CeBIT '99. "CeBIT was a very successful show for
us last year," said international marketing director Daniel
Wallek, "I am looking forward to going back to meet with
present partners, potential distributors and key press contacts
from all over Europe." Other CeBIT goals are to further
educate the international market about Mediafour's cross-platform
solutions, and to strengthen the company's brand name in
Europe.
MacDrive 2000 is new not only in terms of name and appearance,
but offers many additional features. One of the most significant
features of MacDrive 2000 is the support for Microsoft's
new Windows 2000, in addition to the existing support for Windows
95/98 and NT 4.0. Another major feature of MacDrive 2000 is the
inclusion of DropStuff and Expander software from Aladdin Systems,
which enables Windows users to compress and expand StuffIt files
on Mac disks. Other enhancements include support for MacBinary
III files, compatibility with hot-swappable USB and FireWire
devices, and more flexible options for duplicating Mac disks
from Windows.
