XPlay 2.1 Does the iPod shuffle
West Des Moines, IA (Feb 28, 2005) – Mediafour Corporation, developer of XPlay, today announced the release of XPlay version 2.1, which adds support for the iPod shuffle.
The new version of XPlay allows users of Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 and XP to take advantage of the iPod shuffle. Along with support for the iPod shuffle, XPlay 2.1 introduces support for all USB-connected iPods under Windows 98SE and Me.
XPlay, well known as the first product to provide Windows connectivity for iPods, is the only product that enables Windows users to connect with both Mac and PC iPods. It is also the only product that enables iPod compatibility with Windows 98SE and Me.
Now, everything that made XPlay easy to use with the iPod makes it just as clear with the iPod shuffle. The update is free for all XPlay 2.0 customers and can be downloaded at http://www.mediafour.com/updates/xplay. XPlay 1.0 customers can upgrade to 2.1 for a special price of only $9.95. This special upgrade price is valid until March 7, 2005 and can be purchased here https://shop.mediafour.com. After that, the cost to upgrade is $14.95.
Requirements
Use of XPlay 2.1 requires Windows XP, 2000, Me or 98SE, plus any model of Apple or HP iPod.
