System Requirements

  • Microsoft® Windows XP Service Pack 2 or newer (32-bit), Vista SP1 or newer (32-bit and 64-bit), and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Internet Explorer 6 (or newer)
MacDrive works with all FireWire (IEEE1394a/b), USB 1.1/2.0, SCSI, IDE, SATA, Fibre Channel, parallel-port and other disk devices supported by Windows. Installation of MacDrive requires less than 10MB hard disk storage. Low density (400KB and 800KB) Mac disks are not accessible, due to floppy drive limitations.


This download will update previous MacDrive 8 releases to version 8.0.6.

To install the update, simply click the link above to start downloading it, then Open it (if given the option), or, alternately, save it to your hard drive somewhere convenient (like the Desktop) and double-click it after it is done downloading.

About MacDrive 8.0.6:
  • Added: Ability to deactivate MacDrive's license so that MacDrive can be activated on another computer.
